BCP give the first performance of ‘La trace’ by López López in Madrid and Barcelona

This season, in 2020, the chamber ensemble Barcelona Clarinet Players will be the principal performers of two concerts in Madrid and Barcelona. They will give the first performance of La trace (2019, a commission from CNDM and L’Auditori de Barcelona) by José Manuel López López (Madrid, 1956), resident composer at CNDM. Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical, collaborating with the video artist Pascal Auger on this work, a co-production between CNDM and L’Auditori in Barcelona. Composer and video artist have collaborated previously on works such as La grande céleste and Octandre.

This project underlines the importance Barcelona Clarinet Players have always given to innovation, fusion and interdisciplinarity.

The concerts take place on 24 February 2020, at 7.30 pm, at the Museum Reina Sofía (A400) as part of Series 20/21; and 14 May 2020, at 8.00 pm, at L’Auditori (Sala 1. Pau Casals, Stage) as part of Sampler Series.
