Joel Bardolet (Vic, 1987) offers us a fresh vision, one that is very musical and with a point of fantasy in a context excessively grounded in orthodoxy. His criteria, which is solid, based on the teaching he received in Catalonia, Germany and Switzerland, suggests something interesting to come, a renewing effect. Works by Kurtág, Pärt, Trümpy, Pianelli and Oliu; they demonstrate that music written today is not so far from what we habitually look for as listeners, in spite of certain prejudices.
